SHENZHEN – A new small wooden house has become the centerpiece of an emerging eco-resort, offering urban escapees a harmonious blend of community and contemplation spaces.

“More than accommodation, we’ve created social architecture that frames nature,” explained lead designer Zhang Wei. “The small wooden house’s orientation captures both sunrise views and afternoon shade.”
